im controlling a VFD YASKAWA through modbus, im using port COM2 to send data to VDF. I can write a single register like frequency and i can read register like frecuency, voltage, current. But my problem is like i could send a bit from PLC to VFD. For example in VFD yaskawa the register modbus is 0001h and that register have 0-F bits.For example bit 0 is run, bit 1 reverse, bit 3 fault reset. How can i write this register in the VFD?  ? One word is grouped by 16 bits.
If you want bit0=1.You just write a value 1 into 0001h.
If you want bit1=0/1.You just write 0/2 into 001h
If you want bit3=0.You just write 0 into 001h.
if you want bit0=1,bit1=0,bit3=0.You just write 0001(2)=1(10) into 001h.
if you want bit0=1,bit1=1,bit3=1.You just write 0011(2)=3(10) into 001h.
You can use a M register to control Mov instruction which can send a value to D register.Then send D value to Modbus address.

yes i tried but i cant. ..im using instruction RS its the correct instruction ?? but using instruction mov how? ? please could you give an example..how can i write in modbus addres? ?? please give an example .
