With the increase in market demand, WECON adds printer's function in the PI series HMI to meet customer demand for data printing. Compared to the LEVI series HMI, not only the serial printer can be supported, but the USB printer can also work with the PI HMI. Printer list
Serial printer list 1)WH series WH-E22, WH-A6, WH-A7, WH-A9, WH-E21, WH-AA, E222R90-0DE1182TGA 2)SP series SP-RMD6A, SP-RMD6B, SP-RMD8A, SP-RMD8B, SP-RMD8C, SP-DVII, SP-RME4 USB printer list SP-EU80, SP-EU80N, SP-EU801SU-USB, SP-RME3UHB, SP-RME4, SP-RMD8CUH-USB Please check the demo link below. I suggest some points:
1,check communication parameter first. if communication is normal.Time out error will do not appear in screen.and COM led will light or blink. 2,if communication well.but can not printer,please check whether printer paper install. 3,When you debug HMI with PLC,please record the COM port data with serial port monitor tool.And send the monitor data to us. 4,Send project to us and send HMI version from download tool to us.

There is no any problem in communication because my COM led is blinking. My printer is also accept the command from the HMI. but the problem is i dont get proper print I also try with different baud rate but it is still not working for example if i print "HELLO" Then Printer output is different. Here i attach the version of my hmi and image of print output. data.rar (103.72 KB)

I have some suggestions. 1,Printer must support our HMI some setting.(lattice and width and baud rate)
Special function address:
HSW10604:means Print the lattice type if HSW10604=1: means 8 lattice type; if HSW10604=2: means 24 lattice type; if HSW10604=Other: 8 lattice type.
HSW10605 :means printer to print width. Set the printer to print the width (in pixels), such as HSW10604 = 394: the printer supports printing width to 384 pixels of the image
2,Printer object of PI can not drag to big size,and can not over printer paper width.
3,must use correct baud rate.
4,To sure printer is not broken.

If your printer want to connect with our HMI.please note some points:
1,different printer protocol commond is different.So we only support some printer type.If your printer has similar printer protocol with our tested printer.I think it is possible.
2,Printer must support serial port communication.
3,Printer must support 8/24 lattice type;
4,we did not test A4 size printer before.but you can test.
5.You also can use user define protocol to control printer to print.This just is my suggestion.User define protocol is not easy to use to new user. if printer protocol is simple,you can discuss to use it.
